Meet Dr. Eliezer Jones
Founder, Lead Mediator & Child-Inclusive Specialist
A practice born from purpose.
Dr. Eliezer Jones holds a PhD in Clinical Psychology and is a certified divorce mediator with nearly two decades of experience working with children, couples, and families navigating some of life's most challenging transitions.
He founded Lakeshore Mediation after witnessing firsthand how the adversarial divorce process can cause lasting harm, not just to marriages, but to children who have no voice in the outcome. His practice is built on the belief that there is a better way.
Emotionally informed. Practically grounded.
My role as a divorce mediator is not to take sides or impose outcomes. I guide both parties through a process that is respectful, focused, and forward-moving.
My background in psychology and family systems, combined with formal training in mediation and a solid understanding of legal and practical issues — custody, parenting plans, asset division, and support — allows me to facilitate a process that is both emotionally informed and realistically grounded.
"My role is not to take sides or impose outcomes — it is to guide both parties toward solutions that actually work for their family."

Divorce doesn't have to be a war.
When families enter the traditional litigation process, they often emerge more divided, more depleted, and more entrenched than when they began. Court-imposed decisions rarely account for the nuance of a family's actual life.
Mediation is different. It puts the decision-making power back in the hands of the people who know your family best — you. My role is to create the structure, safety, and skilled facilitation that makes productive conversation possible.
